Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland entrust Anatole Taubman with a dual role for SEAT.
19 MAR 2009
The new SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive combines eco-friendliness and driving pleasure like no other car. For its launch campaign, the brand did not hesitate to sign up the world-famous Swiss actor, Anatole Taubman for a double role.
After his major role in the latest James Bond, where he plays the villain, Anatole Taubman has now assumed the role of ambassador for SEAT, for a greener future. With fuel consumption at 3.7l/100 km and a rating of barely 98g/km in CO2 emissions, the new SEAT Ibiza is the least greedy vehicle in its category. However its low consumption doesn't affect the sheer pleasure of driving it, making Anatole Taubman doubly happy. Having played a wide variety of characters in a host of international films, he now shines for the first time in a dual role.
For Saatchi & Saatchi, the first Taubman highlights low emissions and the second, the thrills. The protagonist thus has twice as many reasons to rejoice. He simply beams with pride at his eco-friendly stance. The two Taubmans represent the two facets of the new Ibiza Ecomotive, which, like all SEAT vehicles, comprises two elements: German technology and Spanish passion. The launch campaign will also feature billboards and a launch pack for dealers.
The new SEAT ambassador will also be appearing in several films as from autumn 2009: he will be playing Anastasias in Die Päpstin (The Popess, directed by Sönke Wortmann), and Boy Capel in Jan Kounen's Chanel & Stavinsky, as well as Daniel Ventroni, a go-getting Swiss hotel manager, in Detlev Buck's Same Same but different.
